Hi, I’m Rachel. I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor licensed in the state of Illinois who specializes in evidence-based practices, such as cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), exposure and response prevention (ERP), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and supportive parenting for anxious child emotions (SPACE). I work with people of all ages and all walks of life.
I believe that a strong therapeutic alliance is central to effective therapy. I work alongside my clients to help them establish a more grounded sense of self by exploring their own personal values and gaining more clarity of their emotional experiences and behaviors. I see therapy as a place where people can build upon the strengths they already possess, while learning new skills to help live more fulfilled, balanced and connected lives.
